Helping our community is what we do!
When two of seasonal Cedar Falls Parks employees, Rachel Pugh and Laura Carpenter, were driving past the Women’s Club by City Hall one afternoon they noticed a sound of distress. Pulling over their vehicle, they saw that a women had fallen on the sidewalk, scratching her skin in the process. Both Rachel and Laura attended to her and offered to contact medical help if needed. The woman assured them that was not necessary but she did require assistance getting home which they were more than happy to help with.
By taking the time to investigate and remain with this individual, both employees made a big difference in her safety and peace of mind.
Thank you these amazing team members for stepping up to lend a helping hand when someone needed it most!
